What the module can do

Google Play Parser allows you to search for apps and games by name, link, or package name. After the search, you select the desired app, click the publish button, and the module prepares the news post for the site automatically.

It parses the main information:

• app or game name;
• short and full description;
• icon;
• screenshots;
• developer;
• category;
• version;
• update date;
• Android requirements;
• age rating;
• size;
• in-app purchases availability;
• «What’s new» block;
• Google Play link;
• SEO title, description, keywords, and tags.

All of this can be flexibly configured in the admin panel: what to show in the short news, what in the full one, what to save to DLE additional fields, and what not to use at all.

Automatic news formatting

The module does not just copy data. It creates a beautiful news post with an icon, description, screenshots, an update block, a button to go to Google Play, and an update request button.

AI integration

The module supports OpenAI, DeepSeek, and OpenRouter. With the help of neural networks, you can rewrite descriptions, translate texts, improve SEO, and make materials more unique.

This is especially useful if you do not want to publish the dry text from Google Play verbatim. The module can prepare a more lively description adapted to your site.

App updates and user requests

One of the module’s main features is working with updates. The module can check already published apps and find new versions.

If a visitor notices that an app is outdated, they can click the «Request update» button directly in the news post. The request will appear in the admin panel, where the administrator can review it and update the publication.

You can also enable displaying requests on the news page so it is visible that users have already asked to update the app.

Working via Cron

For automation, cron is provided. It can check updates, process user requests, and update news without manual intervention.

In the settings, you can choose what to do when an update is found:

• update the existing news post;
• update only selected parts of the news post;
• create a new publication for moderation;
• update additional fields, SEO, tags, description, screenshots, and APK data.

APK, XAPK, and APKPure

The module supports working with APK/XAPK/APKS/APKM files. You can specify your own sources, direct links, CDN, or use the APKPure adapter.

Files are downloaded to the server, saved to the required folder, and the path, size, and SHA256 are written to additional fields. For large files, chunked upload is available.

Important: the module does not download APK directly from Google Play. It works with the sources you specify yourself, for example your CDN, mirror, or APKPure pages.
