Contests for DataLife Engine

The administrator or the news author can create a contest, specify the number of participants, choose the prize type, and launch an automatic or manual drawing. The user only needs to click the «Participate» button, after which they will be added to the list of participants.

The winner is chosen randomly among all contest participants.

You can specify not only one, but several winners. For example, create a contest for 100 participants and select three winners at once.

Two drawing options are available:

• automatic drawing after all spots are filled;
• manual launch from the control panel.

After the contest ends, its status changes, new users can no longer participate, and the selected winners will appear in a separate list.

The module supports several reward options.

Key or code

You can add one or more keys in advance. After the drawing, each winner will receive their code.

Suitable for:

• license keys;
• promo codes;
• coupons;
• gift certificates;
• activation codes;
• digital goods.

File

A file can be uploaded as a prize.

The file will be available only to the winner who logged in to the site under their account. Regular users and guests will not be able to access the protected file.

Transfer to another group

The winner can be automatically transferred to the selected group.

After the contest ends, the module will automatically send the winner a private message on the site.
